Welcome to Cusco! Arrive into the Andean’s Airport and transfer to your hotel.
Spend a day free of activities at the Capital of the Capital of the Inca Empire and explore the city at your own leisure. We recommend you to visit San Pedro Market and the historical San Blas Neighborhood.
Walk along the beautiful streets and emblematic squares. Or find yourself in colorful local markets filled with the sounds of bartering.
During your stay in Cusco, you will find many museums, so chose a few that best match your interests.
If you want to explore the iconic Cusco’s attractions, spend some time at the Plaza de Armas or Plaza Regocijos and try the Choco Museum, which will show you the history of cacao. This museum offer cultural and interesting classes about the chocolate process, it is ideal to spend time as a family, especially if you have young kids.

This morning, your expert guide will pick you up from your hotel to start your tour. Discover mysterious alleyways, emblematic squares, and covered treasures of Cusco with your private guide. The first visit will be Sacsayhuaman fortress. The next stop will be the temple of Q’enko and the red fortress of Puca Pucara. The last visit will be Tambomachay before coming back to the city to visit the famous Plaza de Armas and Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun).
Spend the afternoon soaking up the mystery of the Capital of the Inca Empire.

Cusco to Soyroccocha (The impressive Salkantay Peak) (B, S, L, D)

This morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco to start this lovely adventure. During this way, you will pass through Limatambo, this town was one of the main access Cusco City during the Inca Times. Our first stop will be the cozy Mollepata village. After walking a bit more you will get into Cruzpata and finally you will meet your wranglers and horses in Challacancha. After enjoy a savory lunch in Salkantaypampa, you will ascend around two hours to your campsite located at Soyroccocha, it is located just right away to the impressive glacier of the Salkantay (4200m/13776ft). It can be a bit cold, so do not forget to bring very warm clothes for this night.

Soyroccocha to Collpapampa (B, S, L, D)
Enjoy the fabulous and breath-taking beauty of this day’s hike!
Enjoy a delicious breakfast and continue the trekking walking up around 1 ½ hours with direction to the impressive Salkantay Mountain. During this hike delight yourself with the gorgeous snow-capped peaks of the Vilcabamba Range and with the Salkantay Peak looming majestically above you.
Along the way, you will have the chance to see the characteristic flora and fauna and if you are very lucky you will see some condors flying around. Then you will descend to a more tropical climate into the cloud forest.
A long yet easy descent along the Salkantay River takes you to your second camp in the afternoon, Qollpapampa (2890m/9479ft)..

Collpapampa to Playa/Lucmabamba (B, S, L, D)
Hike through the lush vegetation, waterfalls, and try the passion fruit!
This will be a beautiful day, after the savory breakfast, you will pass the waterfalls at Coripacchi, the settlement at Wiñaypoko, then the town of La Playa and finally you will arrive to the Lucmabamba campsite. During this hike you will admire the variety of fauna and flora such as banana, avocado and the highest coffee plantations of the Region. Delight yourself with the lovely parrots that accompany yours descend. At dinner, you can enjoy a glass of wine by the light of the campfire.

La Playa/Lucmabamba to Aguas Calientes (B, S, L, D)

This morning enjoy a delicious breakfast. Then, you will walk uphill for around 2-4 hours to arrive to El Mirador or Q’elloqasa located about 2860m. From this place you can appreciate an overwhelming view of Machu Picchu. Enjoy your last lunch in the nature at the lookout point of Llaqtapata (2650m/8692ft), from where you can get an unbeatable view of Machu Picchu and the Salkantay Mountain. Also, you can appreciate the Llactapata Ruins, which have been recently restored. A 2-hour descent towards the Aobamba River crossing lush bamboo forests and more orchard and coffee plantations brings you to the hydroelectric plant of Machu Picchu from where you’ll board a train that will take you to Aguas Calientes (short, scenic 40-minute train ride). Then, spend a peaceful night’s rest at the surrounding cloud forest.

Machupicchu Tour & Train Back to the Sacred Valley (B, L)
Machu Picchu will take your breath away with its enigmatic and historical atmosphere.
Today is a big day! This morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel. Then, your expert guide will accompany you by bus up to Machu Picchu. Perched at 7,970 feet above sea level and 1,240 feet above the Urubamba river in the Sacred Valley, discover this hidden area that was covered by mountains and semi-tropical jungles for almost 400 years.
Immerse yourself in-depth 2-hour tour, your private guide will show you the mysteries and magic of Machu Picchu by visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sundial, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of Three Windows and some other cemeteries. Afterward you will have plenty of free time to take pictures, explore, and enjoy the amazing panoramic view from the plateau of the iconic Ancient Citadel.
Make your way to Aguas Calientes by bus and take your train back to Ollantaytambo. At your arrival to the train station, you will be transferred to your hotel in Cusco to spend a quiet evening.

This morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast your hotel. Then, your private guide and private transportation will pick you up to start your private tour.
You’ll be taken to see the impressive agricultural site of Moray. It is believed that this place was used as a kind of Incan laboratory to acclimatize crops. Then, we will drive to Maras ‘village – known for its beautiful colonial doorways – before arriving at the town’s still-in-use salt pans. During this visit you will find around 2000 small salt pans that are still used by local people for domestic purposes, then enjoy a savory lunch enjoying the beautiful Andean environment.
Post lunch you’ll have a chance to meet local villagers and visit to an off-the-beaten-track highland village on the shore of the icy blue Lake Piuray. Here, women are weavers’ masters and at this time their main activity is the agriculture. Once you get there, you will interact with the residents, visit their houses and fields, and you will also learn about their day-to-day life is like within the Andean highlands. You may also meet the lovely children; they love sharing their drawings with visitors.
Finally, transfer to your hotel at the Sacred Valley for a well-deserved good night’s rest.
Exploring the Sacred Valley of the Inca Empire (B, L)

This journey will take you to Pisaq traditional market, which is famous for its beautiful handicrafts that delight thousands of visitors every year. Textiles, vegetables and silver jewelry are just some of the items that are sold here.
Then, delight yourself with a savory lunch featuring the most delicious Peruvian dishes.
Our next stop will be Pisaq ruins, we will explore some Incan archaeological sites, including ornate palaces and temples, and magnificent agricultural terraces on the mountains. This was one of the major agricultural centers of the Incan Empire and is one of the most beautiful towns of the Sacred Valley. From here, you’ll be able to see the verdant farmland where the Incas once cultivated their crops and where modern-day Quechua people continue to farm.
Then, you will visit Awanacancha “Living Museum”, where you will learn about the weaving process and you will come face-to-face with the lovely South American camelids, including alpacas, guanacos, vicuñas. Also, you will have the chance to feed them.
Finally, your expert guide will leave you in your hotel located in Cusco to spend a peaceful night rest.
