Welcome to Cusco & Transfer to the Sacred Valley (L)
Start your adventure at the gorgeous and serene landscapes that the Sacred Valley offers.
Welcome to Cusco! After your arrival to the Andean Cusco Airport Once you arrive at the Andean Cusco Airport, your private guide will pick you up to start your adventure in the Sacred Valley. Our first stop will be Awanacancha “Living Museum”, where you will learn about the weaving process and you will come face-to-face with the lovely South American camelids, including alpacas, guanacos, vicuñas… you can feed them too!
Your journey will take you to Pisaq traditional market, which is famous for its beautiful handicrafts that delight thousands of visitors every year. Textiles, vegetables, and silver jewelry are just some of the items that are sold here.
Then, delight yourself with a savory lunch featuring the most delicious Peruvian dishes.
Our next stop will be Pisaq ruins, we will explore some Incan archaeological sites, including ornate palaces and temples, and magnificent agricultural terraces on the mountains. This was one of the major agricultural centers of the Incan Empire and is one of the most beautiful towns of the Sacred Valley. From this point, you will see the modern-day Quechua people continue to farm and the verdant farmland where the Incas once cultivated their crops.
At the end of the tour, your guide will leave you in your hotel located in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas to spend a peaceful night rest.

Visit the Agricultural Lab of the Incas at Maras, Moray & Local Village (B, L)
Enjoy the breathtaking views at the Sacred Valley!
This morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast your hotel. Then, your private guide and private transportation will pick you up to start your private tour.
You’ll be taken to see the impressive agricultural site of Moray. It is believed that this place was used as a kind of Incan laboratory to acclimatize crops. Then, we will drive to Maras ‘village – known for its beautiful colonial doorways – before arriving at the town’s still-in-use salt pans. During this visit you will find around 2000 small salt pans that are still used by local people for domestic purposes, then enjoy a savory lunch enjoying the beautiful Andean environment.
Post lunch you’ll have a chance to meet local villagers and visit to an off-the-beaten-track highland village on the shore of the icy blue Lake Piuray. Here, women are weavers’ masters and at this time their main activity is the agriculture. Once you get there, you will interact with the residents, visit their houses and fields, and you will also learn about their day-to-day life is like within the Andean highlands. You may also meet the lovely children; they love sharing their drawings with visitors.
Finally, transfer to your hotel in Cusco for a well-deserved good night’s rest.
Hike to Ollantaytambo (B, L)
Hike through lovely Andean Villages to Ollantaytambo archeological site.
This day, hike through the Sacred Valley of the Inca, your private guide will lead you to the breathtaking Patacancha Valley. At the ruins of Pumamarca we’ll begin our hike down a pre-Columbian trail, during the hike you will see some irrigation canals that are still used by local villagers today.
Along with your expert guide, you will enjoy two hours of easy hiking, then, we’ll find ourselves in the Incan town of Ollantaytambo, where the centuries-old influence of the Incas is still very much visible: water from the mountains trickles down to the Inca-built street canals, also, you will find the impressive trapezoidal doors and Inca walls.
Ascend beyond the stepped, slope-side terraces to the ruins of a centuries-old fortress above town, where the Incas secured an important victory over the Spanish conquistadors. Discover the mysterious hewn stone constructions, then your private guide will show you the quarries where the Incas sourced these huge stone blocks. From this point, you will enjoy the most beautiful views of the valley and the Urubamba River that meanders through it.
Then, enjoy a savory lunch, delight yourself with the delicious local flavors. Upon completion of this journey, we will bring you back to your hotel for an evening spent at leisure.
Inca Trail to Machu Picchu! (B, BL)
Hike through enigmatic and breath away land-escapes scenarios to the Ancient Machu Picchu Citadel.
Prepare for a climatic day! The Short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu is considered as the most beautiful treks in the world and you’ll see why. Hike through different ecological areas, tropical rain forests, and the surroundings are seriously outstanding places. Of course, the Inca Trail saves its greatest reward for its unique archeological sites, culminating at the lost city of the Incas: Machu Picchu.
This morning, you will be transferred from your hotel to the starting point for your trail. Along the route, delight yourself with beautiful Inca sites, see a variety of flora and fauna and dip yourself in the impressive Andes mountains. Covering 16km of the trail our journey begins in the Sacred Valley and works it’s way up along an original Inca Trail to the Inca site of Winay Wayna.
Continue your hike to the Sun Gate (Inti Punku). From Sun Gate, stare out into the horizons and enjoy the breathtaking views of the mountains and Machu Picchu hidden between steep peaks below you. Once you get to this point, take a deep breath of relief as you have tread in the footsteps of the Incas and have conquered the iconic Inca Trail!
Descend to Machu Picchu and try to capture the best view, be sure to make a stop to appreciate the true beauty of this gorgeous place. Make your way to Aguas Calientes by bus and enjoy a peaceful night rest with the sound of the cloud forest around you.
Explore the Ancient Machu Picchu Citadel & Train to Cusco (B, L)
Dip yourself into the enigmatic Machu Picchu Citadel’s atmosphere
Prepare for a climatic day! This you will be transferred to the bus station to take your bus up to the Ancient City. Do not forget to charge your batteries! You will have many opportunities to take post-card views.
Feeling adventurous? If so, consider hiking the Huayna Picchu mountain, which offers unbeatable views over Machu Picchu. This morning, your private guide will show you mysterious and magic Machu Picchu Citadel by visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sundial, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of Three Windows and some other cemeteries.
This afternoon, take the bus back to Aguas Calientes and board the return train to Ollantaytambo. We will be waiting for you at the train station and bring you to your hotel in Cusco for a well-deserved good night’s rest.
*** This day you will have the chance to climb up the Huayna Picchu Mountain. Delight yourself with the most beautiful views of the Ancient Citadel. Please, consider that it is necessary to book entrances tickets in advance, due that we are subject to availability.

The last visit will be Tambomachay before coming back to the city to visit the famous Plaza de Armas and Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun).

Free day at the Capital of the Capital of the Inca Empire to explore at your own leisure. Visit San Pedro Market and the historical San Blas Neighborhood.
Walk along the beautiful streets and emblematic squares. Or find yourself in colorful local markets filled with the sounds of bartering.
During your stay in Cusco, you will find many museums, so chose a few that best match your interests.
If you want to explore the iconic Cusco’s attractions, spend some time at the Plaza de Armas or Plaza Regocijos and try the Choco Museum, which will show you the history of cacao. This museum offers cultural and interesting classes about the chocolate process, it is ideal to spend time as a family, specially if you have young kids.
If you want to know a bit more about local culture, San Pedro Market is an unmissable stop, it has managed to maintain its authenticity. Every day, local people make their shopping and locals eating at food stands.
